BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - After spending that last month and a half in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II Women's Basketball Top-25 poll, Union College dropped out of the poll but did receive 41 votes, the organization announced Wednesday.

Union went 1-1 last week, suffering an 81-80 loss to Milligan (Tenn.) College which received 43 votes in this week's poll. Milligan is 31st, while Union is 32nd.

College of the Ozarks (Mo.) and Northwestern (Iowa) both won their games last week and held onto No. 1 and 2 in the poll for the sixth straight week.

Ozarks received 13 first place votes and 506 total points and Northwestern earned four first place votes and 497 total points.  No. 3 Morningside (Iowa), No. 4 Bethel (Ind.) and No. 5 Saint Francis (Ind.) rounded out the top-five with 472, 461 and 437 points respectively.  Hastings (Neb.), Davenport (Mich.), Concordia (Neb.) and Shawnee State (Ohio) also held their places from 6-10 respectively from last week.

No. 21 Minot State (N.D.) and No. 22 Daemen (N.Y.) made their season debut in the top-25 while No. 24 Sterling (Kan.) moved back in after dropping out in week four.

Union (16-6 overall, 9-2 AAC) returns to action Saturday when it pays Covenant (Ga.) College a visit. The conference showdown is set for 5:30 p.m.
