BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Several members of the Union College men's and women's swimming teams are already ranked high in the first Appalachian Swimming & Diving top times list of the 2013-14 season. 

On the men's side, the Bulldog 200-medley relay team currently has the best time in the league, hitting the wall in 1:38.16 in their first meet of the season against Cumberlands (Ky.) and St. Catharine (Ky.). 

Indvidually, Bradley Moore leads the league in two events, the 200-free (1:46.82) and 500-free (4:44.99), while Dalton Baxter leads the conference in the 1000-free (10:17.47). Vinicius Rossi is the conference leader in the 200-breast (2:13.78), and Jose Jesus Morales rounds out the Bulldogs leading the league in an event, as his time of 4:19.37 in the 400-IM leads the way.

For the women, the Bulldog 200-medley relay squad currently has the second best mark in the conference at 1:51.59.

Individually, Callie Harrigan leads the way in both the 100-free (54.35) and 200-free (1:58.71), while Kasey McCormick is second in two events - the 400-IM (4:58.61) and 200-breast (2:33.36). Anna Kotliarova is third in the 100-free (55.90), and Eliska Melicharova is also third in the 200-back (2:18.03) rounding out the top performances for the Bulldog women's team.

The Bulldogs return to the pool on Saturday, traveling to Asbury (Ky.) for a dual meet. Action gets underway at 1 p.m.
