BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union sophomore Ana Calaza continues to collect the weekly honors as she was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Libero of the Week for the sixth time this season, the league announced on Monday.

The Rio de Janerio, Brazil, native, also has received the honor on Sept. 16, Sept. 23, Oct. 7, Oct. 14 and Oct. 21. This is the fourth week in a row Calaza has won the award.

Calaza averaged 7.14 digs per set last week as Union went 1-1, defeating Virginia Intermont 3-1 and losing to Bryan (Tenn.) 3-0. She amassed 50 digs on the week and one service ace.

On the year, Calaza had 554 and ranks seventh in the NAIA in digs per set at 5.71 and 23rd in total digs.

The Bulldogs are 19-7 overall and 12-3 in the AAC.

Union returns to action Tuesday when it pays Milligan (Tenn.) a visit. Match time is set for 6:30 p.m.
