WALESKA, Ga. - Three Union College women's soccer players were named to the 2013 All-AAC Women's Soccer teams on Wednesday. Leading the way was junior midfielder Aline Dalmedico, who earned a spot on the All-AAC First Team at her position for the second straight year.

Meanwhile, junior defender Kayse Cornett was named to the All-AAC Second Team and sophomore midfielder Morgan Hiles earned a spot on the All-AAC Third Team.

Dalmedico, a Campinas, Brazil native, was the Bulldogs' leader on the offensive end once again in 2013, recording team-highs in goals scored (18) and assists (5) on the season. Dalmedico scored three game-winners throughout the year and notched three hat tricks. She also ends the year ranked fourth in the NAIA in shots per game (6.39) and 12th in shots on goal per game (3.28).

Cornett, a London, Ky. native, earns a spot on the All-AAC team for the third straight season after leading the Union backline once again. She started all 18 matches on the year for the Bulldogs, pacing a defense that allowed 1.8 goals per game.

Hiles, a native of Union, Ky., earns a spot on the All-AAC team for the first time in her two-year career. In 2013, the midfielder started all 18 matches for the Bulldogs in the midfield, recording an assist. She also fired four shots from the field, as well.

Meanwhile, four Union student-athletes were honored for their work in the classroom by nabbing a spot on the All-AAC Academic Team. They were: Jessica Frisby, Kayla Langen, Payten Walters, and Helen Weber.

Union ended the 2013 season with a 7-11 overall mark.
