BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Several members of the Union College men's and women's swimming teams remain highly ranked in the latest Appalachian Swimming Conference's top times list, which was released by the league earlier this week.
On the men's side, the Bulldog 200-medley team remains third in the conference with a time of 1:38.16, while the 800-free relay squad also sits in sixth in the league at 7:36.22. Rounding out the top relays for Union is the 400-free relay team, who is seventh in the league at 3:24.35.
Individually, Bradley Moore leads the league in the 1000-free (9:52.17), is second in the 500-free (4:44.99), and sixth in the 200-free (1:46.82). Dalton Baxter is fourth in the 1000-free (10:08.82), Vinicius Rossi is fourth in the 200-breast (2:13.78), and Jose Jesus Morales is fourth in the 200-fly (2:01.08). Rounding out the list of top times for the men's team is Lucas Lucena, who is sixth in the 200-back (2:00.20)
For the women, the Bulldog 400-free relay squad currently has the third best mark in the conference at 3:46.87. They've also posted the fifth best time in the 800-free relay (8:26.25)
Individually, Callie Harrigan still leads the way in 200-free (1:58.71), is fourth in both the 100-free (54.35), and 200-back (2:14.96). Anna Kotliarova, who was named the ASC's Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, leads the conference in the 100-free (53.96), is second in the 100-fly (1:00.94) and fourth in the 200-free (2:00.00)
Meanwhile, Kasey McCormick leads the league in the 100-breast (1:09.67), and is second in the 200-breast (2:32.21). Eliska Melicharova rounds out the top conference performances for the women's team, as she is third in the 100-back (1:01.58).
The Union College swimming teams return to action on Dec. 6, as the program hosts their annual Winter Invitational at the Stivers Aquatic Center. The event runs through Dec. 7
