KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Union College men's basketball team moved up to 22nd in the latest NAIA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll, which was released by the organization on Tuesday. Last week, the Bulldogs made their first appearance in the Top 25 since 2006, checking in at No. 25.
The Bulldogs, 18-3 overall and 10-1 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, pushed their winning streak to eight games on Monday night, blowing past Hiwassee (Tenn.) in out-of-conference action, 89-52. In their last conference game last Wednesday at Montreat (N.C.), Union avenged their lone loss in AAC play on the year, using a big second half performance to beat the Cavaliers, 85-68.
Overall, Union has won 11 of their last 12 games and has yet to lose a game since the calendar turned to 2014. The team is also riding an eight game AAC winning streak and has a full two game lead over second place Reinhardt (Ga.) in the AAC standings.

The Union College men's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Milligan in another AAC-tilt at Robsion Arena. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
