BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - A pair of Union College swimmers were named the Appalachian Swimming Conference Swimmers of the Week on Tuesday, as Callie Harrigan earned the women's award and Bradley Moore was selected for the men's award.

Both Harrigan and Moore earned their respective honors after leading the Bulldogs to a pair of dominating wins in a double-dual meet on Sunday afternoon against King (Tenn.) and Bethel (Tenn.) in the programs 2013-14 regular season finale.

Harrigan, a junior, won her two individual events on the day and helped the 400 freestyle relay to win, as well. First, she competed in the 200-free, finishing with a time of 2:09.28. Three minutes later, she returned to the pool to win the 50-free in 25.25. Last, she anchored the winning 400 freestyle relay in 55.30.

Moore, a freshman, was just as strong in the meet. He swam in three individual events, winning all of them. First, it was the 1000-free, with a time of 9:52.83. Four minutes later, he returned to the pool to win the 200-free in 1:49.90. Last, he competed in the 500-free, finishing with a time of 4:51.73.

Both Harrigan and Moore will return to the pool this weekend, as the Bulldogs take part in the 2014 ASC Championships in Christiansburg, Va. Action begins on Thursday and concludes on Saturday evening.
