KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Union College men's basketball team remained in 24th overall in the latest NAIA Division II Coaches' Poll, which was announced by the National Office on Tuesday. It marked the sixth straight week that the Bulldogs were ranked in the Top 25.
Union wrapped up its regular season last week in historic fashion, blowing past Appalachian Athletic Conference foes Bryan (Tenn.), 82-73, on Wednesday, then Reinhardt (Ga.), 101-89, on Saturday.
With the Bulldogs' win over Bryan, the program clinched the 2013-14 outright AAC Regular Season Championship, along with a bid to the 2014 NAIA Division II National Championships next month in Point Lookout, Mo. Union also won its first outright regular season conference championship of any kind since the 1971-72 season with the victory.
