BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Pulaski County High School swimmer, Cortni Thrasher has inked to compete with the Union College Lady Bulldogs next season.

Thrasher will participate in the breaststroke events at Union. She was coached in high school by Matt Bastin.

She is the first signee for the 2008 signing class by Union head coach Rafael Forti.

“I am happy to have Cortni join us at Union College next year,” Forti commented. “She is a very dedicated person and will prove to be a good asset to the college both academically and athletically during the next four years with us.”

Next for Union will be the NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championships in San Antonio, Texas. The championships start on Feb. 27 and runs to March 1 at the Palo Alto Natatorium.
