OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Union College swimmers Dalton Baxter (FR, Woodstock, Ga. ) and Kellianne Holck (FR, Island Lake, Ill. ) were recipients of the 2013-14 NAIA Individual Champion of Character Award, as the 2014 National Championships kicked off for the team last night at the annual Banquet of Champions in Oklahoma City.

Both Baxter and Holck garnered the honor for representing and embracing the Five Core Values of the NAIA, which are respect, integrity, responsibility, servant leadership and sportsmanship.

The Bulldog swim teams begin action at the National meet today, and will continue to do so through Saturday evening. In the pool, Baxter will represent Union in three events (1650-free, 500-free, 200-free), while Holck will also take part in three individual events, (500-free, 200-free, 1650-free), as well.
