BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – The Union College Bulldogs have shot their way to one of the best teams in the NAIA Division II field-goal percentage category. Union owns a 48.0 field-goal percentage which ranks 24th nationally and second in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.

Aaron Dunaway (Lexington, Ky.) also ranks 13th in the country and leads the conference with an 88.2 free-throw percentage.

Other categories in which Dunaway ranks among the conference’s best.

  • No. 6 in Scoring Average (16.04) and 3-Point Field Goal Percentage (.412);
  • No. 9 in Field-Goal Percentage (.442) and 3-Pointers Made per game (2.00).

Union (17-10 overall, 7-8) hosts Milligan (Tenn.) College (18-7 overall, 9-6) this Saturday in the final home game of the season at Robison Arena. Tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m. Union traveled to Milligan, then ranked No. 20, on Jan. 15 and returned to Barbourville with a 61-46 victory.
