BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – A Union College Bulldog owns the fastest 60-meter dash qualifying time according to the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Performance List as of Friday.

Johnnie Nabors (Lawrenceville, Ga.) posted a time of 6.38 seconds in the 55-meter dash last Saturday at the DePauw Indoor Invitational and when converted it is a time of 6.86 seconds in the 60 meters. For his run, Nabors was given the Appalachian Athletic Conference Track & Field Athlete of the Week award on Monday.

Andre Thornton (Loganville, Ga.) has the fifth-fastest time, at 6.92 seconds in the 60 meters which was on Jan. 27 at the Gladstein Invitational.

Thornton also ran to a "B" qualifying mark in the 400 at the Gladstein. His time of 49.81 is currently the 10th-best time in the event.
