BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Rain forced the cancellation of the Union College baseball home doubleheader against Rochester (Mich.) College Sunday.

The teams were able to reach the halfway point of the third inning in the first game before the rain set in for the afternoon. Union, the No. 19 team in the country, was leading 7-0 at the time of the stoppage. The Bulldogs (7-0) took both games against Rochester (0-2) Saturday behind scores of 12-1 and 10-3.

Union will play a 2 p.m. contest at No. 24 Campbellsville (Ky.) University Tuesday.
