BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College women's bowling head coach Chelsea Gilliam has announced that Andrea Claypool has signed her National Letter of Intent, and plans to join the Bulldog program in time for the Fall 2014 semester.
Claypool, a native of Taylor, Michigan, prepped at John F. Kennedy High School in her hometown.
"Andrea has great potential to do great things at the collegiate level both on and off the lanes," said Gilliam. "She has a great attitude and is open to learning and trying new things to help better her game. I am looking forward to seeing what she achieves over the next four years both individually and with the team."
"As soon as I explored campus, met my new coach, and the team I knew I'd fit right in," said Claypool. "I'm really excited for my college experience at Union."
Union is a member of the Mid-South Conference for Bowling.
