KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College picked up several more votes in the latest National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II Women's Basketball Top-25 poll to each closer to the Top-25, the NAIA announced Wednesday.

Union (21-7 overall, 14-3 Appalachian Athletic Conference) picked up 46 total votes, good enough for 28th place. Last week, Union garnered 16 total votes to land in 36th place.

College of the Ozarks (Mo.) stayed No. 1 in the Top-25 poll for the ninth straight week.Ozarks earned 12 first place votes and compiled 505 total points.

Northwestern (Iowa) also held onto No. 2 for the ninth consecutive week with 498 total points and five first place votes while  Morningside (Iowa) received 476 total points and stayed at No. 3 for the fifth straight week.  Hasting (Neb.) jumped up two spots to No. 4 with 448 points and Bethel (Ind.) dropped a spot to No. 5 with 446 points.

No. 25 Aquinas (Mich.) moved back into the top-25 after dropping out in week six.
The final regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, February 27.

Union will close out the regular season Saturday at UVa-Wise. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
