KANSAS City, Mo. - Union College made a return visit to the Top 25 as it landed as the 25th-ranked team in the final National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II Women's Basketball Top-25 poll, the NAIA announced Wednesday.

Union collected 91 total votes to move up to the No. 25 slot. Last week, Union garnered 46 votes and was 28th overall.

College of the Ozarks (Mo.) remained No. 1 Top-25 poll. The Lady Bobcats earned 15 first place votes and compiled 508 total points to stay in the top spot the entire season.

After spending five weeks at No. 3, Morningside (Iowa) moved up a spot to No. 2 with a win over then-No. 2 Northwestern (Iowa) last week.  Morningside earned 495 total points while Northwestern dropped to No. 3 with 476 points.  No. 4 Hasting (Neb.) and No. 5 Bethel (Ind.) stayed in the same spots with 455 and 443 total points respectively.

Union, which won a share of the Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season championship, is 22-8 overall and enters the conference tournament as the No. 2 seed. Union will play the winner of the Montreat (N.C.) College-Bluefield (Va.) College game Thursday at 1:45 p.m. in Bristol, Tenn.
