BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Senior Allison Fowler collected the final Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors for the 2007-08 season after guiding No. 25 Union College to the AAC Tournament championship, the league announced Monday.

Union, the tournament's No. 2 seed, had an average margin of victory over 12 points in their three tournament victories.

The Morganfield, Ky. native averaged 21.7 points per game during the conference championship run, earning her Tournament MVP honors.

Fowler also became the program's second all-time leading scorer as she now has 1,413 career points, trailing only Amber Spencer's 2,273 career total. In addition, Fowler set the single-season record for steals as she currently has 91 on the year, best Andrea Hillard's previous mark of 85.
