DANVILLE, Ky. - No. 17 Union College improved to 4-0 on the year with a 9-0 win at Centre (Ky.) College Wednesday.
Andressa Coelho (Santa Maria, Brazil) was perfect in her singles' contest with a 6-0, 6-0 win and teamed with Katie Sakalauskas (Surrey, Canada) for a 8-0 doubles' win. Camila Cunha (Sao Paulo, Brazil) won her No. 1 singles' match 6-3, 6-4.
Centre, a NCAA Division III team, owns a 1-2 record after the match.
Union returns to Appalachian Athletic Conference action Tuesday with a trip to Milligan (Tenn.) College. The match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
