FRESNO, Calif. - Union College wrapped up its stay at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet in Fresno, Calif., on Saturday but it did not quite meeting its goal of having a top finisher.

In the morning, Brandon Kibert (Tazewell, Tenn.) competed in the marathon and placed 33rd out of 51 runners with a time of 2 hours, 48 minutes and 3.55 seconds. Marco Venancio of Concordia (Calif.) won the event in 2:21:57.34.

Andre Thornton (Loganville, Ga.) advanced to the finals of the 200 Meter Dash, posting a time of 21.94 seconds. However, he was disqualified in finals due to a lane violation.
