BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 14 Union (Ky.) College handed University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) a 9-0 defeat Thursday in a home men's tennis contest.

A pair of Bulldogs won singles' points by 6-0, 6-0 scores, David Arrubla (Bogota, Colombia) and Roscoe Moonieyan (East London, South Africa). Pablo Costa (San Pedro Sula, Honduras) only dropped one game for a No. 4 singles' victory.

Anthony Hill (Guayaquil, Ecuador) and Gustavo Holz (Vitoria, Brazil) held on for the No. 1 doubles' point with a 8-6 win.

The win improved Union's record to 10-2, meanwhile Cumberlands went to 5-10. The Bulldogs also remained perfect at 5-0 in Barbourville this season.

Union will host Cumberland (Tenn.) University for an 11 a.m. match Saturday.
