ATLANTA, Ga. – Two new records were set for the Union College women's track and field team on the final day of the Emory Asics Classic in Atlanta, Ga.

The records were set by Autumn Combs (Florence, Ky.) and Brittany Puryear (Somerset, Ky.) Combs ran the 100-meter hurdles in 22.19 seconds and Puryear threw the discus 53 feet and 5 inches.

Jessica Florence (Frankfort, Ky.) ran the 100-meter dash in 14.93 seconds. She also competed in the long jump, and her best attempt was a leap of 12 feet and 8 inches.

The Lady Bulldogs will be at the Duke Invitational next weekend in Durham, N.C.
