ATLANTA, Ga. – Brittany Puryear set a pair of Union College women's track and field team records Friday at the Emory Asics Classic in Atlanta, Ga.
Puryear (Somerset, Ky.) threw the shot put 23 feet and 3 1/4 inches, to establish the Union outdoor record. She also recorded a toss of 77 feet and two inches in the javelin throw which is also a Union record.
