KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After winning two of three games last week, Union College fell one spot in the latest 2008 NAIA Baseball Coaches Top 25 Poll to No. 13, the national organization announced Wednesday.

Union (33-10 overall, 10-4 Appalachian Athletic Conference) received 254 total votes, three less No. 12 Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University.

Lubbock Christian (Texas) received all 19 first pace votes and remained No. 1 in the poll for the second straight week.

The Chaparrals improved their overall record to 40-1 and extend their winning streak to 33 games.

Lewis-Clark (Idaho) stayed No. 2 with 453 points for the second straight week while Lee (Tenn.) remained No. 3 for third consecutive week with 440 points. Oklahoma City moved up a spot to No. 4 with 408 points while Azusa Pacific (Calif.) dropped to No. 5 with 393 points to round out top-five.

Malone (Ohio) made its debut in the top-25 for the first time this season at No. 22. No. 25 Jamestown (N.D.) moved back into top-25 after dropping out last week.

The seventh regular season poll will be released on Wednesday, April 23.

Union returns to action Saturday when it plays host to Montreat (N.C.) College at 1 p.m.
