BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – Carson Rager is the latest player to sign with the Union College men's soccer team.
Rager, a defender, played at University Heights High School in Hopkinsville, Ky. He was an all-district player in 2005 and 2006. Rager was a member of the Ambush Soccer Club.
He is the third player to sign from Hopkinsville this year, joining Jared Blue and Chase Lester.
"Carson is a very athletic kid with a strong work ethic and we are very excited to have him joining our program," said Union head coach Tyler Brock.
The Bulldogs finished 2007 with a 10-7-1 record, the most wins since 2001. Union also picked up an Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament quarterfinal win.
