PIPPA PASSES, Ky. - No. 13 Union College belted out a season-high 21 base hits Tuesday as it cruised to a 21-2 victory over host Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College.

The win puts Union's overall record at 36-11, while Alice Lloyd dropped to 9-26-1 on the year.

Union put the game out of reach with an 11-run, 11-hit rally in the fifth inning.

Matt Brady (Louisville, Ky.) had a three-hit game, while Justin Hart (Lake Mary, Fla.) added to his doubles record as he now has 52 two-baggers for his career.

Meanwhile, Joe Grinstead (Bowling Green, Ky.) hit his eighth home run of the season, and Brett McAlpin (Winchester, Ky.) clubbed his first.

Marcus White (Winchester, Ky.) collected the win, upping his record to 6-3 on the year.

Union will close out the regular season Saturday when it pays Milligan (Tenn.) College a visit. The Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader is set to begin at 1 p.m.
