BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The regular season came to an end for No. 23 Union College Friday with a 7-2 home victory over NCAA Division II member Carson-Newman (Tenn.) College in women's tennis action. 

After the match, Union owns a 12-4 record and Carson-Newman went to 12-3.

Andressa Coelho (Santa Maria, Brazil) only dropped one game in her No. 5 singles' match. Ximena Aguilar (Morelia, Mexico) and Katie Sakalauskas (Surrey, Canada) worked quickly for a 8-0 No. 2 doubles' victory.

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to Milligan College, Tenn. to defend the NAIA Region XII Championship. Play gets underway Friday with two semifinal contests with the NAIA Region XII Championship match Saturday. The bracket will be released Monday.
