
BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 14 Union College remains ranked second in NAIA Region XII Baseball rankings, the association announced Monday.
Union has a 37-12 overall record after an Appalachian Athletic Conference split with Milligan (Tenn.) College Saturday. The Bulldogs are tied for second in the conference with an 13-5 record in AAC play but enter this week's conference tournament as the No. 2 seed.
For the eighth straight week, the top spot belongs to Tennessee Wesleyan College , ranked 10th nationally. King (Tenn.) College sets behind Union with Montreat (N.C.) College and UVa-Wise in fourth and fifth, respectively. Indiana University Southeast, the lone representative from the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, remained at sixth.
Union opens play in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament Wednesday against seventh-seed Bluefield (Va.) College at 3:30 p.m. The tournament is being held at Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tenn.
The next regional rankings will be announced May 5.
