KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College inched up another position in the final 2008 NAIA Men's Tennis Top 25 Coaches' Poll, landing ninth, the NAIA announced Wednesday.

The Bullldogs (13-2 overall) received 222 total votes as they switched spots with now-No. 10 Savannah College of Art and Design (Ga.).

Auburn University Montgomery (Ala.) sits on top of the Top 25 Poll.The Senators received 12 out of 13 first-place votes for a total of 324 total points. AUM finishes the regular season with a 22-1 record and will try for its third consecutive national title and eighth overall.

Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (Fla.) moved up one spot this week to grab a share of this week's No. 2 ranking. The Eagles captured their fourth straight regional crown after defeating Savannah College of Art and Design and head to national championships with a 17-2 record.

Fresno Pacific University (Calif.) held tight at No.2. The undefeated Sunbirds notched one first-place vote and total of 306 points to tie with AUM.

Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) and California Baptist University remained at their previous No. 4 and No. 5 spots to round out the final top five.

Union will open play in the NAIA Region XII Tournament Friday at 9 a.m. against King (Tenn.) College.
