BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - West Carter High School's Bo Thompson has signed to continue his basketball career at Union College under the direction of Kelly Combs.
Thompson is a 6-foot-7 forward and played for head coach Jeremy Webb at West Carter. Last season West Carter went 19-9 before losing in the opening round of the 62nd District Tournament. Thompson averaged 15 points per game with 10 rebounds. He made 52 percent of his shots from the field.
Union finished last season with a 19-13 record which included an opening-round victory in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament.
