BEREA, Ky . - A season-best run came for Union College freshman Bethany Bowlin at the Berea College Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning.
Bowlin, a Barbourville, Ky. native, covered the five kilometer course in 24 minutes and 0.85 seconds. The run put her in 43rd. She shaved 34 seconds off from her first race of her collegiate career two weeks earlier.
Center (Ky.) College narrowly took the team title over Georgetown (Ky.) College.
Next on the schedule is the Greater Louisville Classic on October 4 in Louisville, Ky.
