BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - No. 12 Union College rank among the best in the National Association Intercollegiate of Athletics (NAIA) and the Mid-South Conference statistically, according to the NAIA-DakStats website.

As of Thursday (Oct. 2), Union ranks in the Top 10 in one category nationally but rate in the Top 25 in 12 total categories. Meanwhile, seven different Bulldogs rank in the Top 25 in 13 categories.

Here is where the Bulldogs stand nationally:

  • No. 1 in PAT Kicking (1.000)
  • No. 15 in Field Goal Percentage (0.833)
  • No. 19 in Passing Efficiency (137.700) and First Downs Per Game (21.000)
  • No. 22 in Total Defense Per Game (294.800)
  • No. 23 in Opponents' 4th Down Conversion (0.250)
  • No. 24 in 3rd Down Conversions (0.400)
  • No. 25 in Passing Defense Efficiency (104.300), Rushing Offense Per Game (176.300), Sacks By (2.500) and Scoring Offense Per Game (30.000)

  • Jacob Appleby (Harvest, Ala.) ranks No. 1 in PAT Kicking Percentage (1.000), No. 5 in Scoring (Kicking) Per Game (7.500), No. 6 in Field Goals Per Game (1.300), and No. 19 in Field Goal Percentage (0.833)
  • Willie Williams (Miami, Fla.) ranks No. 5 in Sacks Per Game (1.300), No. 7 in Tacklers Per Game (12.500) and No. 8 in Tackles For Loss Per Game (2.000)
  • Terence Pollock (Orange Park, Fla.) ranks No. 8 in Rushing Yards Per Game (119.000)
  • Ty Harris (Monroe, Ga.) ranks No. 11 in Passes Defended Per Game (1.700)
  • Marekus Smith (Lithonia, Ga.) ranks No. 16 in Passes Defended Per Game (1.500)
  • Mike Brinkley (Anthony, Fla.) ranks No. 19 in Passing Efficiency (137.000)
  • Chris Thomas (Hopkinsville, Ky.) ranks No. 22 in Kickoff Return Yards Per Attempt (24.800) and No. 22 in Punt Returns Per Attempt (8.800)

  • No. 2 in Passing Efficiency (137.7), Rushing Defense (123.0) and Field Goal Percentage (0.833);

  • No. 4 in Sacks By (2.5);
