Eric Wyrick was named the head men's golf coach in January 2007, making him the fourth person to man the position since the program was reinstated in 1995.
He help lead the Bulldogs to the program's first birth in the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship in 2009. Union finished 26th at the event after qualifying by winning the Appalachian Athletic Conference tournament. Wyrick guided the Bulldogs to the program's first Appalachian Athletic Conference regular season title earlier in the season as well. For his efforts, Wyrick was named the 2009 AAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year. Under his guideance, Union has a total put a total of two players on the All-AAC squad, including the 2009 AAC Tournament medalist.
Wyrick is no stranger to Union or the Bulldog golf program. A four-year member of the team, Wyrick was a member of the 2003 Appalachian Athletic Conference Championship team. In addition, Wyrick was a four-time AAC All-Conference Team Member.
In addition to being the men's golf coach, Wyrick is Union's women's golf coach.
In 2006, the Hamilton, Ohio native graduated from Union with a B.S. in Business Administration.
