Whitney Erb begins her first season as the Union College head volleyball coach. She is the 10th person to take the helm of the Lady Bulldogs.

Prior to assuming the head coaching duties, Erb served as the team's assistant coach during two separate terms. The Sarasota, Fla. native spent one year as the team's assistant in 2005 before serving as an assistant at NCAA Division I Seton Hall (N.J.) University. As a member of the Pirates' staff, the team posted a 16-14 overall record in 2006.

In 2007, Erb returned to Union as an assistant coach as the Lady Bulldogs captured its first-ever Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season championship.

She has also coached the Cut Shot, Birmingham and Alabama Junior Volleyball clubs. She also traveled with the Bring It Promotions International Volleyball Juniors Summer Tour to Austria, Italy and Crotia in 2003 and 2004, and to Greece in 2007. In June of 2008, she coached a club in Nicaragua.

A 2005 graduate of the University of Montevallo (Ala.), Erb was a four-year member of the Lady Falcon squad.

Prior to Montevallo, Erb played for Sarasota High and the Whitesands Volleyball Club. She was a three-time All-Area Selection and helped her team win the regional championship in 2000 to place 11th at the nationals that year.

Kellen Foganholi enters her first season as a member of the Lady Bulldog coaching staff.

A four-year member of the National American (S.D.) University, Foganholi was a three-time NAIA All-American as she made the First Team in 2003 and 2005 and Third Team in 2004. After helping NAU to the NAIA Final Four in 2004, Foganholi and NAU captured the NAIA National Championship in 2006.

In addition to being a three-time All-American, Foganholi earned All-Region III Team honors all four years.

Foganholi graduated from NAU in 2008 with a degree in athletic training.

Along with her coaching duties, Foganholi will work part-time as an athletic trainer at Union.

A native of Landline, Brazil, Foganholi is married to Andranik Der Bedrossian.
