Assistant Coach- 1st Season
Ex-Lady Bulldog standout Jessica Brandner enters her first season as an assistant for the Union College  women's soccer program.

Brandner goes into the coaching ranks after a four-year career on the women's soccer team at UC.

In her senior campaign of 2010, Brandner was named to the All-AAC second team as a defender, and also earned a spot on the All-AAC academic team for her work in the classroom. She started in each of Union's 19 matches on the year, pacing a defensive unit that gave up just 25 goals on the year.

Brandner was also a member of the 2009 Lady Bulldog squad that captured the AAC Regular and Conference Championship, advancing to the NAIA National Championship. She was also a first team All-AAC defender, and scored the lone goal of her career during the season.

Head Coach- 4th Season

Camila Mendes took on the head coaching duties for the Lady Bulldog soccer program in December of 2010 on an interim basis. Prior to assuming the role, she spent three seasons as an assistant coach.

Mendes is no stranger to Union College nor to the Lady Bulldogs as she played on the women's soccer team from 2001-04, helping the Lady Bulldogs to back-to-back NAIA National Tournament appearances in 2002 and 2003.

The Campinas, Brazil native ranks eighth in program history in goals scored (33), ninth in assists (23) and eighth in points (89). A four-time All-Conference selection, Mendes was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2004. She was also recognized as a NAIA All-American honorable mention in 2002, 2003 and 2004. In addition, Mendes was named the Union College Female Athlete of the Year in 2004-05.

After leaving Union, Mendes continued her playing career as a member of the Blackburn Rovers in England in 2005, on Requios FC in Japan in 2006 and on Real Dimension in Trinidad in 2007, helping Real Dimension capture the national championship.

In 2008, Mendes coached Naparima U16 Boys team in Trinidad.
