Jeremy Wise became the 12th head coach in Union volleyball program history in May of 2013. He enters his second season at the helm of the Bulldog program in 2014.

In 2013, Wise led Union to a nine-game improvement from the previous season, as the Bulldogs went all the way to the finals of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament, finshing with a 26-9 overall mark, the best record for the program in a season since 2009.

Wise also coached Ana Calaza to AAC's Libero of the Year award in 2013, as three Bullodgs were named to the All-AAC teams. Meanwhile, Paige Moore earned a spot on the AVCA All-Northeast Region First Team for her efforts. Three more were named to the All-AAC Academic team, with senior Caity Merritt earning Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete honors, as well.

With 2013's results, Wise's career record now sits at 349-278, Wise ranks in the top 20 for winningest volleyball active coaches in the NAIA.  He owns a .557 career winning percentage.

Wise came to Union after a five-year stint at William Penn (Iowa) where he compiled a 121-95 record with the Lady Statesmen. Prior to that, Wise amassed a 202-174 record during a 10-year stay at Urbana (Ohio). He advanced to the NAIA National Championship Tournament at both stops.

Wise led William Penn to the program's first-ever national tournament appearance in 2008, earning a berth to the NAIA Opening Round. The team shared the Midwest Collegiate Conference regular-season crown and then claimed the MCC Tournament title.  The squad's 26 wins (26-15) were the most since 1985.

The 2008 MCC Coach of the Year, Wise has led 17 players to all-conference recognition and one to All-Region and All-America status.  Ten individuals have claimed NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognition and 25 have been named to the academic all-conference team.

Wise coached at Urbana for 10 years from 1998-07. He inherited a team that had not had a winning season in school history and had won only four games in the previous three years. Wise quickly turned the program around and led the Blue Knights to numerous postseason appearances as well as a national ranking. His squads broke every school record, including wins, and he left as the winningest coach in school history with 202 victories.

Also during his tenure at Urbana, Wise guided 26 players to all-conference recognition, had five all-freshmen team honorees, and two Region IX Defensive Players of the Year. His squads succeeded academically as well as 13 individuals garnered NAIA Scholar-Athlete laurels and 22 earned academic-all conference honors.

In 1996, Wise graduated from Ohio University with a double degree in coaching and sports industry and a minor in psychology. He also received his masters in Athletic Administration from Ohio in 1997.

Wise and his wife, Katie, have two sons, Austin and Logan.
