BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The 2002 season was a magical one for the Union College women's soccer program as the team qualified for the NAIA National Championship Tournament for the first-time ever.

The Lady Bulldogs capitalized on the opportunity and advanced all the way to the Final Four. Because of the achievement, the 2002 women's soccer team is being recognized as a Team of Distinction in the Union Athletic Hall of Fame.
