MOBILE, Ala. - Union College saw the 2009 season end Tuesday after an 8-1 opening round loss at the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship against No. 15 Xavier (La.) University.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College is out of the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 poll for the first time this season as the Lady Bulldogs landed at No. 29, the organization announced Sunday. Also announced were the 24 teams for the 2009 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship, in which Union will play in.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - No. 25 Union College extended an undefeated streak to 33 victories in a row over Appalachian Athletic Conference foes after defeating Covenant (Ga.) College 5-0 to win the AAC Tournament Saturday.
