KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The number four seeded Union College softball team dropped its first game in the 2015 Appalachian Athletic Conference Softball Tournament to the number five seed St. Andrews (N.C.) 7-1, Tuesday morning at Domtar Park.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Four Union College softball players were named 2015 All-Appalachian Athletic Conference Teams, which were announced by the conference office Monday night. They included Ashley Wojnowski (SR/Sevierville, Tenn.), Megan Baldwin (SO/London, Ky. ), Bridget Bass (SO/Nelson, Va.) and Andrea Foster (JR/Harriman, Tenn.).

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Union College softball team wrapped up the regular season portion of their 2015 schedule with an Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader split with Columbia (S.C.), Friday afternoon. The Fighting Koalas took game one 2-0 and the Bulldogs battled back for an 8-1 win in game two to earn the split.

WALESKA, Ga. – The Union College softball team dropped a heartbreaking Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader to Reinhardt (Ga.), Tuesday afternoon. Reinhardt took game one 9-8 in 10 innings and game 14-6 in five innings.
