BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College volleyball team went into the community recently and took the sport into near-by Jesse D. Lay Elementary School to demonstrate the skills associated with volleyball to the children.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The honors keep coming in for Union College. The volleyball tandem of Stephanie Pateman and Monica Moreland received spots on the American Volleyball Coaches Association NAIA All-Region team, the organization announced Thursday.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - A great run came up short as No. 3 seed Union College lost 3-1 to King (Tenn.) College, the top seed, in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament championship match.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College's Monica Moreland was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference Volleyball Setter of the Year, the conference announced Saturday. She was an All-AAC selection along with three other teammates.
