KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Union College guard Tarik Smith has been named to the 2012-13 All-Appalachian Athletic Conference Men's Basketball second team, the league announced on Wednesday.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Union College forward Deante Johnson has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference's Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced today.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's basketball team will enter the 2013 Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament as the sixth seed, and will open postseason play against third-seeded Bryan (Tenn.) on Thursday night at 9:15 p.m. The league announced the pairings on Sunday. 

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union used a late first-half rally to seize control and never looked back as the Bulldogs registered a 78-58 Appalachian Athletic Conference victory over visiting Bryan (Tenn.) on Saturday.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College men's basketball team hosts its final game of the 2012-13 season on Saturday, entertaining Bryan (Tenn.) at Robsion Arena. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College guard Tarik Smith came off the bench to score 25 points, as the Bulldogs outscored Point (Ga.) 12-5 in the second overtime to pull past the Skyhawks, 82-75, on Wednesday night in Appalachian Athletic Conference action at Robsion Arena.
