KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Five members of the Union College softball team were named to the 2013 All-Appalachian Athletic Conference Second Team on Tuesday. 

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Reinhardt (Ga.) pitcher Maddie Monroe tossed a no-hitter, as the top-seeded and eighth-ranked Lady Eagles topped the Union College softball team, 5-0, at the 2013 Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. 

KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Freshman Danielle Borum recorded four RBI, pacing the eighth-seeded Union College softball team to a 10-3 victory over ninth-seed St. Andrews (N.C.) on Monday afternoon at Domtar Park. The contest was a play-in game in the 2013 Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament. 

BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - The Union College softball team bashed 16 hits on their way to a convincing 12-4 victory over St. Andrews (N.C.) in the second game of an Appalachian Athletic Conference doubleheader on Saturday at Union Field. St. Andrews was victorious in the first game of the set, 4-1. The contests were the 2013 regular season finales for both squads.

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Union College softball team dropped two tough games to Columbia in Appalachian Athletic Conference action on Sunday. The Lady Bulldogs dropped the first game of the doubleheader, 4-3, then lost game two, 5-2.

ATHENS, Tenn. - The Union College softball team lost a pair of games at Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday afternoon. TWC won game one, 8-1, then completed the sweep with a 9-2 victory in game two. 

HARROGATE, Tenn. - The Union College softball team dropped a pair of heartbreakers in an out-of-conference doubleheader at Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) on Tuesday evening, losing game one, 1-0 and game two, 3-2.
